Frequently Asked Questions
What do I get upon completion of the programs offered?
You may earn a Certificate in Professional Selling, a Certificate in Marketing, or a Certificate in Business Leadership.
What is the difference between the three programs?
The Certificate in Professional Selling is designed for salespeople. The material goes over sales tactics, persuasion, objection handling, the sales cycle, closing strategies, etc. If you sell a product/service for a living (or want to) – this is your program.
The Certificate in Marketing is designed for all marketing professionals. The material goes over product placement, value creation, marketing styles, and the creation/implementation of a marketing plan.
The Certificate in Business Leadership is meant for those individuals who are managers or leaders of sales or marketing teams. The material reviews material such as recruiting, strategic thinking, motivation principles, etc. If you are a newly promoted sales leader or if you are looking to get promoted, this course is for you.
Can you fail courses?
Much like a traditional program, there are requirements that must be satisfied to complete a course. Some courses require a final exam, while others require projects and essays. It is possible to fail a course by not satisfying these requirements.
What happens if you fail?
If you fail a course, you may re-apply for the next upcoming program.
I went to college already. Will this program still benefit me?
Absolutely. This program is encouraged to be used in conjunction with a college degree. This program shows that you are always looking for ways to master your craft and that you are committed to success, which is crucial in the sales hiring process.
Does this program take the place of a college degree?
This program is not meant to take the place of a college, university, or trade school education. Because we exist outside of the boundaries of a traditional college or university, accreditation is unavailable for IASML. No claims are made that this program will grant you the same experience as a traditional 4-year college/university program, but we can make claims that the information presented here is highly relevant and beneficial. This program is meant to be used in conjunction with your highest education status – whether it’s graduate school or high school. This shows that you go above and beyond to master your craft because you take success seriously.
How Old Do I Have to be to Enroll?
